A publication built around better shortlists
Roadframe is an independent editorial website operated by Tom Bieringer from the Republic of the Philippines for readers shopping primarily in the United States. The editorial goal is not to catalogue every camera; it is to explain a small, useful shortlist and the tradeoff attached to each choice.
Editorial principles
- Use plain language before specification theater.
- Show a reason not to buy alongside every recommendation.
- Separate research-based evaluation from hands-on testing.
- Do not sell rankings, invent awards or hide affiliate relationships.
What Roadframe is not
Roadframe is not a retailer, manufacturer, installer or representative of Amazon or VIOFO. Purchases, shipping, returns, warranties and customer service are handled by the seller shown at checkout.
